Musselman & Hall has been doing railroad work for more than a century.

Under the direction of Chuck Rosemeier, our experienced crews can handle any job from re-gagging rail to tie replacement and crossing maintenance.

We also specialize in narrow gage railroad maintenance. We built the track at the Kansas City Zoo and we have been maintaining it ever since. In fact, we maintain the tracks at all the amusement parks in the Kansas City area.

We also specialize in track inspections. Our cadre’ of experts can come to your facility to inspect your track and make a survey of repairs needed and what they will cost. We will also come to your facility on a regular basis to tighten spikes, regage rail, tighten joint bars and do whatever is necessary to keep your rail cars on the track.

New railroad construction is also an M&H specialty. We will help you lay your siding out on paper to make sure it is geometrically correct. We will tell you exactly what the work will cost and then we can build it for you on a not to exceed cost estimate. Our crews do all the work including clearing, grading, drainage, sub-ballast, track installation and ballast regulating.

Grade crossings are another M&H specialty. Whether it be concrete, asphalt of composite crossings, we do them all under any conditions at any time. Our hours are your hours. We want to make your crossings smooth and we want to install them when we provide the least interruption to your operation.
